The property is heavily beamed and rambling with lots of space for all generations.  There is a large family sized kitchen and 2 sitting rooms, a utility room and 2 shower rooms on the ground floor.  Upstairs there are four bedrooms and an attic room perfect for a teenager.   Outside there is a garden and great country walks from the doorstep.  Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead when outside the property.  The pretty town of Mayfield is close by as is Tunbridge Wells, offering a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars.  Battle is close by and there are plenty of historic house and famous gardens to see in the area.
