Here at Coppermines Lake Cottages, we welcome all creatures’ great and small in our pet-friendly cottages. We have a wide selection of pet-friendly properties to suit all pockets, accommodating from one up to a maximum of four dogs. So please browse our pet-friendly cottages below.

Coppermines guests are also entitled to free use of our 1 acre enclosed field in Coniston village, perfect for off the lead running, walking, training and playing. * Please note field use is possible by arrangement only please contact our office for more details.

Offering the largest collection of cottages in the Coniston area, The Coppermines Lakes Cottages are the local experts. Independent Agents, locally owned, managed and staffed since 1982. The business was originally developed from the humble restorations of the historic Coppermines buildings, situated in the Coniston Coppermines Valley by Philip Johnston and his family who still own our business today, making us one of the last independent agencies here in the Lake District. Over the years we have significantly grown to now offer over 90 hand-picked, unique, self-catering Lake District cottages (many pet-friendly), all of which are situated within the UNESCO World Heritage boundary.

Whilst we have added to our collection of cottages over time, our ethos remains the same: ‘‘providing self-catering cottages of quality & character combined with exceptional personal service’’.

The Lake District is constantly voted the UK’s number one holiday destination and in 2017 was awarded UNESCO World Heritage Status.
