The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks are both within easy reach making Tewitfield an ideal base from which to enjoy an abundance of walks with your dogs.

Our one-bedroom ground or first-floor apartments have balconies or terraces with views overlooking the marina. The perfect setting to relax with a glass of something while watching the ducks and boats busy themselves on the water. Our two, three, and four-bedroom apartments offer a stylish and comfortable retreat where you can unwind after a busy day exploring. Tewitfield Marina also has over 50 moorings for narrow boats and canal/river cruisers (up to 40ft). For more detailed information, please visit our website. Dogs are welcome on request for a small charge. Please ask upon booking. We provide a complimentary dog welcome pack on arrival, plus a dog bed, dog bowls, mat and drying cloth in the accommodation. There are plenty of dog-friendly safe walks from the doorstep and an outdoor dog wash for those mucky paws! We look forward to welcoming you and your four-legged family members soon!

Our happy place 🐾 we love staying at Tewitfeld Marina with our dog. We stay more than once each year. So dog friendly with a lovely dog welcome pack and lots of lovely local walkies and places to visit.

What can I say that hasn't already been said ?
5* accommodation for us Humans and our four legged furry companions , fantastic helpful staff , Longlands Inn right on the doorstep for fantastic food n drinks ,, longlands farm for food n drinks to stock your apartment for your stay and for family activities.
The peaceful, calming surroundings with the water lapping at the Marinas edge where you can feed the Swans n ducks from the comfort of your own private patio/balcony.
It's also a great base to take yourself away to Morecambe, Lancaster etc etc or just bimble along the Lancaster Canal.

It's a 5 star stay for you and your dog. Everything is provided for your dog,,treats, dog bags a ball a bed and a blanket..It's next to a dog friendly pub and lots of other dog friendly amenities. Definitely a 5 star from me
