Experience - The Area...

Just a ten minute drive from the old packet port of Falmouth with its maritime history and glorious sandy beaches, this attractive detached double glazed stone barn, carefully converted and furnished to provide comfortable accommodation is in the small hamlet of Crowsmeneggus, close to the village of Ponsanooth. 

Set in beautiful countryside with tranquil views from the inverted accommodation and an array of wildlife walks around Kennall Vale Nature Reserve and Restronguet Creek nearby, it is approached by a gated drive that leads to the spacious parking area.

There are two local pubs within a mile of the property and several small shops in the surrounding villages less than 2 miles away. The gardens of Trelissick, Glendurgan and Trebah are a short drive as is the impressive National Maritime Museum at Falmouth and the Cathedral city of Truro is only 7 miles by car.

Stay - The Accommodation...

The front door opens to an entrance porch with a utility area. An inner door leads through to the ground floor hallway where there is a shower room W.C. with hand basin and two cottage style bedrooms, a double bedded room and one with two single beds, each furnished in antique pine with beamed ceilings, natural wood floors and soft colourings.

Uncarpeted stairs wind up from the hallway to an open plan living room that takes up the whole of the first floor, consisting of a smartly fitted kitchen area, a lovely hand built ash dining suite and a very comfortable seating area at one end beneath a pine clad hip shaped ceiling. A wide stable door opens to a flight of railed granite steps that lead down to a securely fenced rear garden.

Visitors are welcome to mindfully explore part of the owners non-working farmland which includes a lake but dogs must be kept on a lead. There is undercover storage for bicycles and beach gear in one of the few farm outbuildings.
