Swallows at Turnchapel

This reverse level stone cottage is tucked away into the village of Turnchapel, situated on the South West Coast Path, an ideal base to explore the local area and beyond. Designed with couples in mind, 8 St. Johns Road is a lovely haven to enjoy a romantic break, somewhere peaceful to come and relax, with the option of bringing along an extra guest, as there is a sofa bed provided. Over three floors, this retreat has been beautifully styled, beginning with a lovely lounge hosting a woodburning stove and comfy seating, where you can simply unwind and take in the lovely features around you. A couples of steps takes you up to a wonderful decked terrace, your own little place for sea views, and some quiet time as the sun goes down. Alternatively, a small courtyard is provided too. The lower ground floor continues the quality accommodation, presenting a country themed kitchen with modern counter-tops, and a collection of contemporary appliances. There is also a breakfast table, ideal for a warm cup of tea in the early hours. The top level of this accommodation boasts a stylish double bedroom, with a neighboring en-suite bathroom included, designed to that of a hotel standard. As well as this, there is also a shower room on the lower ground floor. Turnchapel is a historic fishing village with two good food pubs by the water, where the River Plym meets Plymouth Sound, with little ferries to Plymouth. The coastal path takes you past Mountbatten Beach, Jennycliff Beach and beyond to Bovisands, a trio of soft sandy beaches. Water sports are available at the Mountbatten Centre or the Plymouth Sailing School. Mount Batten is a small peninsular surrounded by Plymouth Harbour and the River Plym. A unique retreat for you and your loved ones.

Over three floors. One bedroom: 1 x first floor double with en-suite bath, hand-held shower over, basin and WC. Lower ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Lower ground floor kitchen with breakfast table. Lounge/diner with sofa bed, and woodburner.
