Sandy Cottage is a little one-bed home-from home in the peaceful village of Jaywick Sands. A beautiful little cottage just a 5 minute stroll to a dog-friendly sandy beach and a 25 minute walk along the promenade to the seaside resort of Clacton on Sea. The cottage has one bedroom with double bed; a kitchen with full size cooker, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle; a lounge with a sofa two easy chairs and a TV; and a bathroom with full sized bath and electric shower over.

Like to walk? Jaywick Beach is dog-friendly all year and only a 5 minute stroll. From there, in one direction you can walk along the beach or promenade to Clacton on Sea in 20 minutes with it’s buzzy resort centre and then walk on to the pretty beaches of Holland on Sea. Further along the coast is Walton on Naze and elegant Frinton on Sea with it’s beautiful greensward promenade. In the other direction is St Osyth, home of St Osyth Priory. Pets are most welcome and are welcome in all rooms. We don't have a dog now but have in the past and know they are part of your family so we want them to enjoy the holiday with you. We do ask that dogs aren't allowed on the beds unless you use your own throw to protect the linen.
