Nestled within the canopy of four mature beech trees, you can enjoy valley views and complete seclusion in the bespoke handcrafted Treehouse.

All of the stunning furnishings and decor have been supplied by Wayfair and the interior designed by their team of stylists.

Staying in the Treehouse was the perfect relaxing break in a tranquil setting among the trees and surrounded by nature.

As you walk in, you are greeted with a warm and cozy feel, there is a giant bathroom with a walk-in shower to your left. As you walk through there is a large open plan living space with wood burner, soft furnishings, a comfy sofa and chair where you can relax with the many inspiring books around the place. There is a lovely kitchen area, with lots of wood and bespoke items dotted around, which give it a very homely and warm feeling but also practical with everything you could need. It’s extremely well thought out, brilliantly stylish, homely and warm and so blissfully peaceful. The dogs especially loved a sleep by the woodburner after a walk down at the local beach.

Outside is equipped with a wood fired pizza oven, a gas barbecue and outdoor leather lounge chairs, all in a seating and eating area.

Although it was a bit cold and rainy when we went I can imagine lovely, long summer evenings on the terrace, which comes complete with a wood fired pizza oven and BBQ. Still, we very much enjoyed the views and the sounds of nature that surrounded us.

Upstairs, there is the bedroom. The luxurious king-size bed is fitted with Egyptian cotton bed linen and it’s very impressive with a beautiful interior and wallpaper, plus lovely views out to the surrounding beech trees from all sides. It was very soothing to hear only the sound of trees in the wind and the occasional hoot of a nearby owl.

You could spend all day here and not go anywhere else – there are plenty of walks to be had straight from the treehouse and, in fact, it’s surrounded by paths around the local woods. It’s about a 5-minute drive to the local beach which, I would imagine, never really gets that busy, what with Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton sands (one of the best dog-friendly beaches in the UK, in my opinion) just around the corner.

When you were younger you may have built your own treehouse in your back garden. This is above and beyond what you could ever have imagined that to be. I could live here – I should be so lucky!
