Plas Esgob is a stunning holiday house with its own little beach and the most breathtaking views. It is located near Rhoscolyn on the west coast of Anglesey. The owner has carefully added his flair and love to the original character of this charming seaside holiday house with vintage throws and fascinating nautical finds. This is a house where you can enjoy a seaside holiday as it should be - simple pleasures in great company. *ALERT* - This fantastic house is about to get even better! From May 2020 the property will benefit from a large extension and renovations completed in a similar style and to the current impeccable taste of the owners. A fresh entrance hall will welcome you into the house. The old kitchen space to the left of the house, will be home to two bedrooms; one twin bedroom on the ground floor with zip'n'link small single beds which can also be made up as a king size bed. Adjacent is a king size room with its own private patio doors. A new shower room with loo and hand basin will service these ground floor bedrooms. Upstairs, there are two further double bedrooms (one super king and one king). Both bedrooms have gorgeous views and will benefit from private balconies. Both rooms will continue to have their own bathrooms with roll-top baths. There is to be a new extension which will house a new open planned kitchen diner on the ground floor with a mezzanine sitting room all benefitting from double height glazing which will maximise the stunning sea views. We will provide plans as soon as possible and please note that there may be small adjustments to the design once in the build is in progress. Current layout: The kitchen and dining area is a large sociable space with French doors opening out onto the sheltered patio area and garden. This well equipped kitchen has free-standing hand painted units, a range cooker, dishwasher and a fabulous bright red American-style fridge freezer. The large dining table seats eight. The view from the kitchen sink will make everyone want to volunteer for the washing up! Just off the kitchen is a cosy little room with a large flat screen TV and DVD player. It‘s the perfect place to tuck up after a busy day exploring the island. The sitting room and sun room is a lovely bright space. There are comfortable sofas and armchairs around the wonderful glass-topped boat coffee table, set in front of an open fire. This is a perfect room for relaxing in and reading the morning paper or curling up by the fire on cooler days. There is one twin bedroom on the ground floor with zip'n'link small single beds which can also be made up as a king size bed. Opposite this room there is a bathroom with a loo, washbasin and shower. Upstairs there are two further double bedrooms (one superking and one king). Both of the upstairs bedrooms have gorgeous views and are accessed by separate stairs. Each room also has its own vintage pair of binoculars, so you won't miss a thing! Both rooms have their own bathrooms with roll-top baths, vanity units converted from traditional chests of drawers and gallons of hot water - ready for when you all come back in from the beach at once. There is a handy tap by the back door for washing off sandy feet. From here you can head into the utility and drying room which has space for your dog to sleep, hooks and hangers for coats and wetsuits and a washing machine. The sheltered courtyard is a lovely suntrap. Furnished with a dining table and chairs, as well as two steamer chairs and BBQ - perfect for cooking your catch of the day! The garden is enclosed. You can walk along the sand to the local pub, The White Eagle, buy crab and lobster from the local fisherman, explore the coastal footpath, or book a kayaking or coasteering session with B-Active. Alternatively you can enjoy a climbing and mountain adventure which can be provided by Gaia Adventures. Be as busy as you want to be, all without getting in your car. The nature of Plas Esgob's location means that there are areas of cliff face and the sea within close proximity to the cottage. Whilst the garden is enclosed, guests with young children are asked to be mindful of this.
