Gin lovers will delight in visiting this property's snug room which the owners have renovated into 'The Gin Room' and is the most characterful part of the cottage with its stone walls and sheepskin day bed. Once the evening draws to a close, retire to the king-size bedroom which has its own multi fuel stove for those colder evenings, as well as a TV so you don't have to move to watch your favourite morning shows whilst relaxing in the soft Egyptian cotton bedding. There is a bathroom with the choice of a bath or shower over and benefitting from Egyptian cotton towels and underfloor heating. To the rear of the cottage is a private decking area which comes with outdoor furniture so you can dine alfresco or simply enjoy a refreshing drink whilst watching the sunset. Guests are also welcome to use the owner’s hot tub during their stay, adding a spot of luxury to your romantic getaway. Situated in the heart of the Northumberland National Park, you can explore the rolling countryside either by walking or hiking, perfect to take you dogs along to stretch their legs. This area is also popular for cyclists and is an easy drive to Hadrian's Wall and Kielder Forest. Make sure you get involved with some watersporting activities at any one of the nearby lakes and rivers.
