Pawprints, 22 Notter Mill Country Park

Notter Mill Country Park is close to Saltash just across the Tamar Bridge from Plymouth. It is a David Bellamy award winning Conservation Park close enough to Plymouth and Truro but quiet enough to be able to totally relax and enjoy the peace and quiet and listen to the sounds of nature (including the owl who visits in the evening/night) The River Lynher runs through the park and there are lots of dog friendly beaches, pubs, cafes and restaurants in the area. Dartmoor is only a short drive away. The Park has 23 individual Lodges, a heated outdoor swimming pool (May to September) a large outdoor recreation area with tennis court, children's football pitch, outdoor table tennis, climbing frame and swings. The recreation area is dog free but dogs have the use of a smaller conservation area just by the entrance to the park. where they can be let off their leads to run. A maximum of 2 well behaved dogs are allowed per lodge. Towards the end of the park Pawprints, No 22, is situated on the right hand side. There is a car parking space and a gravel hardstanding surrounded by a rockery. As you enter the property there is a small utility room with freezer, washing machine, bench and coat rack, from here you go through to the fully equipped kitchen , with range cooker, which in turn leads to the open plan dining area , patio doors to the rear lawned area of the property, and the living room with vaulted ceiling. A doorway from dining area leads to the twin bedroom, toilet, bathroom and main bedroom with king size bed. Both bedrooms have large wardrobes and bedside chests of drawers. There is a hairdryer provided in the main bedroom. A door from the living room leads on to the outdoor seating/dining area with picnic bench, a 2 seater sofa, 2 chairs with coffee table and 2 sunbeds and umbrella. Dogs must be on a lead whilst in the park so we also have a log with ring to attach your best friend to while you are enjoying the sun or your meal. We usually have a selection of DVD's, books, children's toys and colouring books available but have had to remove them at the moment to make cleaning /sanitising easier during the current Covid 19 situation. We have enhanced our cleaning protocol and purchased a steam cleaner so that we can steam clean the property between guests as well as completing our usual cleaning programme.
