This charming stone detached cottage, lies just 4.5 miles out of Stewarton, in a rural location resting on the owner’s farm, amidst hillside, South of Glasgow. Perfect for families or friends, this cottage offers guests a warm welcome all-year-round, with lovely features including a woodburning stove and pleasant views towards the garden and countryside beyond. Whether you are relaxing in the homely lounge or trying your hand at some baking in the well-equipped kitchen, this is a lovely place to return to each day that goes by. Two bedrooms are situated on the ground floor, soothingly decorated with neutral colours, presented as a double and a twin for alternate sleeping arrangements. A mezzanine bedroom lies upstairs with a super king-size bed, also featuring a sofa bed should you wish to invite extra guests along. The sun room is an exquisite addition to the accommodation, and makes a wonderful spot to settle down with your loved ones at the dining table. Why not take a moment or two to enjoy the enclosed garden, and its private decked area? A private hot tub completes the cottage, making it an ideal place to kick back and relax. This beautiful location is ideal for cycling with its quiet roads and perfect for fishing at the nearby Harelaw Dam Fishery. Neilston pad is a spectacular walking location with its luscious landscape trails and the coastal town of Troon is just a 30 minute drive away which features Dundonald Castle, Troon Yacht Haven and Royal Troon Golf Club. Stewarton is a large bustling town which lies at a crossing point of the Annick Water, six miles north of Kilmarnock. It is a town of rich heritage and is known for its bonnet making skills. There are many shops, pubs and restaurants in the town and the convenient train station to take you further afield. Visitors can also follow the Barrhead Heritage Trail, three walks which take in 27 historically significant sights around the town of which the oldest is the Arthurlie Cross, a 9th century carved stone. The train station in Neilston offers free car parking and the train is only 25 minutes to Glasgow. A very interesting location for a memorable stay.
