Read MoreWith mYminibreak's dog-friendly accommodation, you can stay in a comfortable retreat that is pet friendly and only a 2-minute walk from the beach. Our B&B, Self Catering Cottages & Chalets happily welcome dogs and are close to dog-friendly beaches, forests, and other attractions, making them perfect for a holiday with your furry friend.
When we transformed from a working dairy farm into a holiday destination, we made sure that our accommodations furnishings and the overall relaxed vibe stayed true to our farming roots. We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, so we picked a spot on the outskirts of Heacham village that is tucked down from the road, shielding us from the sea breeze and making it difficult to be seen from the road. mYminiBreaks Norfolk Accommodation is in a great spot on the North Norfolk Coast, near Hunstanton, Sheringham, and the natural areas of Wells-next-the-Sea and Cley, where dogs can enjoy long walks through beautiful scenery.
Holkham, Brancaster, Cromer, and Burnham Market, all on the North Norfolk coast, and the Norfolk Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are all dog friendly and within easy driving distance. After that, you can relax with a drink without worrying about driving because there are many restaurants and pubs within walking distance of our beachfront retreat, and many of them are also pet-friendly. There's always something to do or somewhere to go that'll get your dog's tail wagging around here!

In addition to a free continental breakfast served in a country buffet style, you can enjoy views of the Norfolk Countryside out to Wild Ken Hill and be just a 2-minute walk from our Dog-friendly Beach. Each accommodation has its own outside seating to enjoy a coffee while watching the sunset, and guests also have access to a communal fire pit and barbecue.
Breakfast – All of our guests can enjoy a hearty breakfast buffet in our charming country-style dining room, which also lets dogs sit inside with their owners and has ample room for all guests alongside an orientation towards the rising sun from the east. Most places along the coast of Norfolk that are popular with tourists allow dogs and even give them water bowls. Many of our beaches welcome dogs year-round, while others have seasonal restrictions between Easter and Halloween. The wide stretches of sand and calm, shallow waters at Heacham South Beach make it an ideal spot to spend the day with your dog. And when you're ready to clean up after your tail-wagging pup, you can use our dog wash. Here are some of the nearby beaches and their restrictions on dogs:
Our Great Location
Heacham—South and North Beach, with no restrictions. Snettisham, no restrictions. Hunstanton Main Beach, summer restrictions. Old Hunstanton Beach, no restrictions. Holme-next-the-sea, no restrictions. Thornham, no restrictions.
Travellers will love the area's stunning natural beauty as well as the many fun things to do, sights to see, delicious local foods, and places to play fetch!
From our Norfolk coast chalets, you're only a quick drive — or a beautiful, scenic 3-mile walk — away from the classic seaside town of Hunstanton, where you can spend the afternoon strolling along the beach, taking in the scenery, exploring the nearby resorts, and feasting on fish and chips while watching the sun go down.
The upper part of Hunstanton Town and the older area now known as Old Hunstanton make for a beautiful stroll along the coastline, with the red and white, uniquely striped cliffs that you can walk over on the scenic coastal path. The old villages and towns have a lot to offer those interested in history and culture, including historical figures and geological formations that date back millions of years.
You can walk 3 minutes down the street to a local shop that sells everything from food to pet supplies, so you'll never have to worry about forgetting an essential item and having your holiday ruined.
