Experience - The Area...

Located at the quieter end of Praa Sands beach (Ashton side) is Noel Cottage - a charming, one bedroom, ground floor cottage with private parking (please note that the first floor windows above Noel Cottage belong to the adjoining farmhouse and does not form part of the accommodation at Noel). The accommodation is set over one floor with just one step up into the bedroom. Staying at Noel you are just a few short minutes walk down hill to the beach with easy access onto the surrounding coastal footpath.

Noel Cottage came by its name as a tribute to a much loved and repected former farmer handyman who worked on the farm for the Treloar family. Interestingly, the Treloar family still own part of the farm including Noel Cottage and generously gifted some of the farmland to the National Trust in recent years so that members of the public could enjoy the space and the views that come with it.

The golden sands at Praa Sands beach stretch for over a mile with the section of beach nearest Noel Cottage by far the quietest part. On the beach itself you will find a cafe, the Sandbar dog friendly pub, restaurant, beach shop and watersport hire. Praa Sands can also boast a popular 9 hole golf course which overlooks the sea.

The famous Pensgerick Castle is just a short drive from Noel Cottage as are the must visit Cornish destinations of St Michaels Mount in Marazion, Penzance with its recently refurbished Art Deco open air, geothermal heated Jubilee pool and the pretty fishing village of Porthleven. 

Stay - The Accommodation...

From the parking space at the front of the property a couple of shallow steps lead up into the property.

The small but perfectly formed accommodation layout comprises of kitchen, bathroom WC with bath and overhead shower, living/dining room and step up into the good size double bedroom.

Outside to the front is a small area of lawn with table and chairs provided.

The property is heated via electric wall mounted heaters to the bedroom and living space with underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathroom.
