Myrtle Cottage (Worcestershire)

Dogs: 2

Sleeps: 6

Set in the heart of the lovely village of Bretforton is this picture perfect Grade II listed stone cottage. Myrtle Cottage has been refurbished to a high standard yet retains many original character features including exposed beams, an inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove and a hot tub. Myrtle Cottage is a Grade II listed stone character cottage set in the lovely Worcestershire village of Bretforton, on the borders of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This charming property has been thoughtfully refurbished throughout, retaining many original features such as the large inglenook fireplace, exposed beams and window seats. Modern touches blend beautifully with luxurious furnishings and carefully selected furniture in keeping with the cottage's period charm.
The comfortable sitting room stretches the full length of the cottage and features a wood burning stove set within the original fireplace and beautiful floor to ceiling beams. There's also a cosy snug, with a second wood burning stove, providing an additional sitting area. The modern kitchen is well-equipped with an Aga and separate electric oven and hob, along with a good sized dining table with seating for six guests. A family bathroom and utility room complete this spacious ground floor layout. Upstairs are three double bedrooms and a family shower room.
One of Myrtle Cottage's many wonderful selling points is the fully enclosed and private rear garden, south-facing, it is perfect for outdoor dining and has plenty of seating so you can relax there all day from morning through to evening along with a luxurious hot tub for relaxing after a day exploring the Cotswolds and Stratford-upon-Avon. The cottage boasts off-road parking behind secure gates, a real bonus given the cottage's central village location. Bretforton is a picturesque village boasting an award-winning pub, the Fleece Inn, the only National Trust owned public house, only a minute's walk away. This holiday at a glance
