Liz's Lodge

Dogs: 2

Sleeps: 6

Get back to nature in style at this beautiful, elegant and peaceful woodland retreat, just one and a half miles inland from the coastal village of Weybourne. Get back to nature in style at this beautiful, peaceful woodland retreat, just one and a half miles inland from the popular coastal village of Weybourne.
Liz's Lodge is a fabulously luxurious Scandinavian A-frame dwelling, set in a small copse within the secluded 'woodland village' of Weybourne Forest. Furnished in an elegant, contemporary style with great attention to detail, and clever use of space, the owner has created a very relaxed and comfortable environment, in keeping with its lovely, tranquil setting.
The lodge has three bedrooms, one of which is downstairs, and two bathrooms. The stunning open-plan and light-filled living space has one totally glazed wall to take full advantage of the woodland scene outside. This is a superb place to socialise, as well as relax and take in the view - slide open the door and you can bring the outside in. On warm days you have a choice of two decked, glazed balconies, where you can enjoy some alfresco dining or just lie back, look at that great big Norfolk sky and listen to the birds!
A little way down the hill is Weybourne Station, where you can take a ride back in time and catch the Poppyline steam train to either Holt or Sheringham. It's about a twenty minute walk down to the main village where there is a well-stocked village store, and a good pub serving food. The Coasthopper bus passes through on a regular basis all year round, and stops at all the coastal villages from Kings Lynn to Cromer.
Liz's Lodge really is the perfect place to stay if you like to keep fit; there are some pretty woodland trails to explore from right outside the door, the National Trust's Sheringham Park and Kelling Heath are close by, and the North Norfolk coastal path is a short drive (or two mile walk) away.

Additional Information
Well-behaved dogs are welcome (a charge of £30/dog is applicable), but are requested to respect house rules, and should always be kept under control within the forest to avoid disturbing the wildlife.
Liz's Lodge is on an exclusive luxury lodge development.
