A five minute walk from the closest beach, Porth Dinllaen, you can enjoy a pint on the beach at the Ty Coch pub - voted the third best beach bar in the world! You can visit nearby Abersoch and Aberdaron, or take a boat trip to Bardsey Island. Steam train enthusiasts will love the Welsh Highland Railway, or you can visit Criccieth to explore the castle and enjoy a Cadwaladers' ice cream. The coastline is dramatic and the scenery is astonishingly beautiful, with sandy beaches and pretty coves. It is so nice to see the village shop displaying fresh seasonal local produce and you can also browse around the market in Pwllheli which is close by.
