Hillcrest Cottage is a beautiful new purpose built holiday let. It incorporates stunning double height living areas and a fully glazed gable end overlooking outstanding open countryside views. A lovely private garden can be accessed through large sliding doors allowing seamless inside and outside living. It has been furnished to a very high standard with all modern conveniences incorporated including ground level disability friendly access. Underfloor heating throughout the cottage makes it a cosy all year round ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

The accommodation comprises: 
A huge open plan living area with kitchen, dining and lounge area with two sets of sliding doors connecting to outside patio and garden areas.
Massive galleried ceilings with a fully glazed gable end overlooking beautiful open countryside.
A spiral staircase leads to the upstairs double bedroom with en suite with a pretty free standing bath.
Upstairs has large south facing velux windows and full views through the stunning double height gable end glazing.
There is a large double bedroom downstairs, the en suite incorporates a very large walk in shower suitable for guests with mobility issues.
The living area has two double bed sized sofabeds which can accommodate extra guests.
Hillcrest benefits from flush thresholds and is fully compliant with current disability building regulations.
Children over 12 years old are welcome.
Pets are welcome free of charge.

There is a separate utility and laundry area with washer dryer, iron and separate cloakroom facilities.
The cottage has underfloor heating throughout, making it very cosy all year round.
Hillcrest has free broadband wifi, DAB radio, 50" freesat HD Smart TV, DVD and CD player.
Outside there is a private enclosed landscaped garden with south and west facing patio areas. 
There is convenient access to public footpaths across fields directly from my garden.
Parking is on a large private driveway right next to the cottage, this is well away from the road.
Waitrose and Tesco supermarkets are 1.5 miles away in Saxmundham and offer home delivery.
Nearby attractions: 
Hillcrest is situated in a quiet location just 1.5 miles from the pretty market town of Saxmundham. 
It is in the heart of the Heritage Coast holiday area 7 miles inland from the lovely town of Aldeburgh.
Also within a short drive are Sutton Hoo, Snape Maltings, famous for its concerts and cultural centre, Minsmere Bird Sanctuary, Southwold, Framlingham, Dunwich, Thorpeness, Orford and Walberswick.


Harvey's Mill is the existing drum of a 17th century post windmill that has been restored to a high standard. It has exposed walls internally showing the original structure of the windmills grain store. It also has a beautiful Norfolk Reed thatched roof.
The Mill is situated in a quiet location just 7 miles inland from the lovely Heritage Coastal Town of Aldeburgh. Also within a short drive are Sutton Hoo, Snape Maltings, famous for its concerts and cultural centre, Minsmere Bird Sanctuary, Southwold, Framlingham, Dunwich, Thorpeness, Orford and Walberswick.
