Built on a slope on the fringes of a former fishing port and with stunning views across craggy limestone hills, is this lovely holiday let, perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the lakes with their furry friends. Kick off your walking boots in the entrance hallway and step into the open-plan living room. This airy space boasts dual aspect windows overlooking the rockery, which wraps itself around three sides of the cottage. The kitchen is fully equipped and fitted to a lovely standard of quality and there is a dining area in one corner of the room. Double doors take you through to the sitting room, which occupies a bright and sunny feel and the chance to relax with your loved ones on sumptuous armchairs. Sliding doors open out onto a balcony, taking in the glorious views across the Kent Estuary to the Lake District hills beyond. Continuing along the ground floor is a double room with a dressing area, followed by a family bathroom and a master double room with large fitted wardrobes. Unwind after a long day exploring the wider region, by taking a seat in the window and admiring the undisturbed views with a refreshing beverage. Upstairs is a dormer bedroom enjoying an en-suite, with a corner shower and more of those sought-after views. To the exterior, the garden is positioned on the slope with a gravelled terrace bordered by greenery. Arnside retains many of its original features you will want to explore, with its 15th century Pele Towers and Victorian church of St James. Nature lovers will thrive off the stunning woodland walks and countryside rich with rare wildlife. Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve is just a short drive away on the edge of Morecambe Bay, where you can identify various species of bird and otters fishing for eels in the summer.
