Superbly appointed luxury timber lodges just for couples (no children), and their well-behaved dogs. The three lodges are situated on a working farm in the fells between Troutbeck and Windermere, well off the beaten track, yet only 10 minutes by car from Windermere village. There is a wonderful network of bridlepaths and footpaths directly from the lodges. Each lodge comprises a fully fitted kitchen, comfortable lounge and dining area, bedroom with king-size double bed and large walk-in shower room, plus plenty of storage for coats and boots. Outside, the decking area is perfect for relaxing to enjoy the peaceful location.

Immaculately clean, great facilities for dog owners friendly farm dogs

The Lodges are immaculately clean. The owner loves dogs and takes care to ensure that owners have everything they need. The farms own dogs are friendly too! There are walks from the Lodges so you don't need to drive. Close to lots of dog friendly establishments. Even bad weather is catered for with dog towels available. The ability to watch the farm in action is great entertainment. We have returned several times and never been disappointed. It is couples and their dogs only so lovely and peaceful. No mobile signal which for me was a bonus!
