We are a dog friendly lodge in the woods, perfectly located for you and your furry best friend to explore the south lakes of the stunning Lake District
Read MoreRelax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. We’re only 2.5 miles from Bowness and Ambleside. The lodge is in a peaceful area with woodland and stream nearby, the marina is a short walk and the resort centre is a stone's throw away. Some facilities on the park are subject to extra cost such as use of the pool, entertainment, bar and restaurant. The lodge is pet friendly for 2 small dogs or 1 larger dog. Please message us if you have a request though. Your furry friends are welcome anywhere in the lodge and they will love the large enclosed decking space outside just as much as you!

Had an amazing week at the Lodge over Summer. Countless walks to do and a lot of dog-friendly places nearby which made it even better. The lodge is very clean and cosy while sitting in a nice quiet spot just off the lake. The kids loved it as well, especially the swimming pool and the quiz night!
Will definitely be returning for a break again next year :)

Gorgeous lodge on a great site- dog friendly restaurant and walking area through woodland. Really clean lodge and great host. Good spot for Ambleside, Windermere and Rydal caves and dog friendly activity centre next door

Just returned from an amazing break
Can't recommend Happy Days highly enough. A luxurious lodge, set in fabulous surroundings, plenty of walks around the lodge and a short distance from Windermere and Ambleside.
