When we first saw Blacksmiths Cottages. it was love at first sight. And we hope you will feel the same. We would be delighted to welcome you to our little slice of heaven. Blacksmiths Cottages are based in Muston, a lovely picturesque village 1 mile from Filey. We have 2 dog-friendly holiday homes situated in a delightful courtyard setting for you to stay in. We supply blankets, throws, poo bags, bowls, treats, towels, and beds for our doggy guests. Blacksmiths Cottage is a luxury 2-bedroom property. There are 2 bedrooms, one bedroom has twin beds and the other has one king-size bed with a foldaway single bed available if required. The bathroom has the ‘wow’ factor with a roll-top bath and separate shower. Downstairs, the kitchen is well-equipped and spacious. There is a separate dining room with a reading nook and a double-sided wood burner that serves the living and dining room. The lovely living room finishes off the downstairs floor. All of the downstairs has underfloor heating which is a firm favourite for our dog. Outside is an enclosed patio and garden. The Old Smithy is a beautiful one-bedroomed, detached barn conversion with a large fully enclosed garden. There is an open-plan galley kitchen, dining, and living room with French doors opening onto the garden and patio. The lounge is a welcoming space to relax in after a busy day. The bedroom has a king-sized bed with a shower ensuite. Each cottage has free WIFI and there is a large area for onsite car parking. Just 100 yards down the road from Blacksmiths Cottages is the dog-friendly village pub serving great food. In Muston, our guests can pick up the Wolds Way National Trail to walk right into Filey and the celebrated Cleveland Way is also accessible in Filey. It has a beautiful 5-mile beach with Filey Brigg at one end and the popular Bempton Cliffs at the other. Filey is a very dog-friendly town with lots of cafes and venues welcoming your pets. Our location is brilliant for the traditional seaside resorts of Scarborough and Bridlington all within a short driving distance. Inland we are perfectly located for Dalby Forest, the North Yorkshire Moors, Malton, Castle Howard, Pickering, and the beautiful city of York just over an hour away.
