The immediate area surrounding the cottage is abundant in wildlife, serene and peaceful; with only the sound of birdsong to accompany your alfresco dining, it is the perfect retreat for friends, families and couples seeking a relaxing break in the country. Inside, on the ground floor, there is a kitchen with a dining table for six and a sitting room with a woodburner. With exposed stone walls and wooden beams, it is a really lovely, cosy place to relax together in cooler months. On the other side of the kitchen, an open doorway leads into a bright conservatory where you will find six comfy armchairs facing a delightful view of the garden and countryside, beyond. Sitting here, you can sometimes spot the deer that come right up to the cottage! Upstairs are three pretty bedrooms, a traditional bathroom and a shower room with a shower cubicle. The first two bedrooms are each accessed down three steps from the hallway, and the master room has large wardrobes, a wicker armchair by the window, and a double bed which enjoys the marvellous views. The lawned garden has a brick-built, covered seating area, and there is a covered patio with outdoor dining furniture. There are lots of great walks in the area and there are lots of interesting days out to enjoy at Stourhead, Longleat, Cheddar Gorge and Stonehenge.
