Off-Grid Lakeside Dog-Friendly Camping & Glamping in the North Norfolk Countryside. Great Local Walks & Close to the Norfolk Coast Path

Whether your furry companion is a woodland-wandering Spaniel or a trail-blazing Terrier, North Norfolk Camping & Glamping is the ultimate rural escape for you and your four-legged friends.

Set in the heart of the rolling Norfolk countryside, our site is a hidden gem designed for those who want to swap the city lights for star-filled skies and the gentle rustle of leaves. The centrepiece of our retreat is a stunning natural lake, offering a serene focal point where the water reflects the vast Norfolk sky and the surrounding ancient trees. We’ve created a space where you can truly disconnect and immerse yourself in the peace of a woodland setting, with your dog right by your side for every moment of tranquillity.

🐾 Adventure Awaits: From Coast to Country Park

At mYminiBreak, we believe a holiday isn't a holiday without the dog. Our North Norfolk location puts you in the perfect "middle of everything" spot to explore some of the region’s most iconic and dog-friendly destinations:

Blakeney Point & Salt Marshes: Experience the wild beauty of the coastline. Take a dog-friendly boat trip from Morston Quay to see the famous seal colonies, or walk the sea wall where the sky seems to go on forever.

Cromer & Sheringham: Spend a day at the traditional seaside. From walking the iconic Cromer Pier to exploring the clifftop paths and flint-pebbled beaches of Sheringham, there is no shortage of salty air for your pup to enjoy. Don't forget a ride on the North Norfolk Railway (the Poppy Line), where well-behaved dogs are welcome aboard the steam trains!

Holt Town Charm: Visit the historic Georgian town of Holt. It’s incredibly dog-friendly, with many independent boutiques and cafes keeping a water bowl at the door. It’s the perfect place for a relaxed afternoon of "window sniffing" and coffee.

Holt Country Park: Just on the edge of the town, this award-winning park offers over 100 acres of woodland. With waymarked trails through oaks and pines, it’s a sensory paradise for dogs who love a forest frolic.

🏕️ Choose Your Wild: Camping & Touring

Our site offers a back-to-basics, "wild-style" feel, but with the essential comforts that make camping a breeze. We offer a variety of spacious grass pitches to ensure you and your pup have plenty of room.

Tent Pitches for Every Explorer: From Small Hikers’ spots for solo travellers to Medium, Large, and Jumbo Pitches for families and groups, we have the perfect base for your tent.

Touring & Campers: We welcome Campervans and Motorhomes, with many of our pitches offering lakeside views. Wake up to the sound of birdsong and the sight of swans enjoying the lake.

Facilities: We keep things simple and clean with shared hot showers, toilets, fresh drinking water, and waste disposal.

Campfires & BBQs: Nightly campfires are the heart of our site! We encourage raised fire pits so you can enjoy a cozy evening under the stars with your dog at your feet.

✨ Glamping with Rural Charm

If you want the "wild" experience with a bit more comfort, our glamping options are the perfect solution for a stress-free getaway. Our glamping units are nestled in prime positions to catch the best of the Norfolk light.

Glamping Yurts: For a truly unique experience, our traditional-style yurts offer a spacious and circular sanctuary. With their sturdy frames and atmospheric covers, they provide a magical, "nomadic" feel—perfect for curling up with your dog after a long day of hiking.

Shepherd’s Huts: Sturdy, handcrafted, and beautifully furnished, our huts offer a cosy, insulated sanctuary from the elements. These are ideal for those seeking a romantic or quiet retreat, complete with comfortable beds, rustic interiors, and a private outdoor space for your morning brew. All huts have an en-suite shower and WC

Glamping Bell Tents: Immerse yourself in nature in one of our iconic canvas bell tents. Available as "blank canvas" for the purists or fully furnished for those who want to "just turn up," they provide a breathable, airy space that stays cool in the summer sun—a hit for dogs who love a shady nap.

🌾 The Spirit of North Norfolk

At North Norfolk Camping & Glamping, we invite you to embrace the slower pace of life. Whether you are watching the sunset over the fields or planning your next trek through the salt marshes, this is a place where you and your dog can find your wild.

I voted because my dog loved every minute of being on site, roaming around camp, saying hello to other campers, fetching sticks for the fire, digging holes, walking round the lakes and the woods and 5 minutes from the sea and almost everywhere we went in Holt,Sheringham, and Cromer allowed dogs

Our dog Maggie would vote if she could! She had the best time in this picturesque and peaceful campground which was well set up for dogs .
