Hill of Oaks is an award-winning holiday park on the slopes of ancient woodland, with exclusive lake frontage for almost a mile along the shores of Windermere in the beautiful Lake District National Park.

There are plenty of walking options as you would expect. From lakeside strolls and hillside wanders to adventurous fell hikes. There’s something for humans and dogs alike. Hill of Oaks offers a selection of lakeside and woodland glamping pods, lake view apartments, cottages and lodges, and holiday homes. On-site facilities include a small shop, a children's playground, a dog exercise area, and EV charging. You are welcome to bring your own canoe, kayak, inflatable, or paddleboard for £20 per item, per stay. Slipways and piers are available for launching.

Fab place, lots of places to walk my dog Lennox. They even have there own secure doggy field for them to have a mad half hour run about. Some of the rented properties are dog friendly too. Ideal base for lots of dog walks/hikes
Shop/cafe allows dogs in & they get dog treats too! Also sell doggy ice cream for really hot days
