Concierge Camping in West Sussex offers quite simply the best camping experience in Britain, as evidenced by its crowning accolade of 2019 AA Campsite of the Year Award. It’s spacious, luxurious, and in a great location, close to the coastal cathedral city of Chichester, South Downs National Park, Blue Flag beaches and the iconic Goodwood Estate with its world class horse racing, golf and motorsport.

The Concierge Camping site was a meadow forming part of the historic Ratham Estate when it was acquired in 2011 by Lord and Lady Hodgkin, Guy & Tracey to campers. The couple aimed for the highest possible standards and won six awards within eight weeks of opening in 2015. Nevertheless, they have continued ‘obsessively’ improving.

Today they have 27 Fully serviced Hardstanding pitches.

The site itself is historic and beautiful, featuring three listed buildings and a stream.

The hard standing pitches are fully serviced for motorhomes or caravans, for the supreme glamping experience try one of the unique Safari lodges, canvas outside and timber panelled inside with the smell of pine and are wonderfully equipped. They sleep four to six people and have amenities including underfloor heating, sumptuous seating, washrooms with rain showers and flush toilets plus kitchens kitted out with range cookers, fridge freezers and dishwashers.

There’s even a deluxe dog wash on site.

“Our facilities are more like a boutique hotel than camping and glamping,” says Tracey.
