Head south from Tarbert on the A83 towards Campbeltown and you’ll reach one of the finest beaches on the West Coast of Scotland. Stretching for over six miles to the golfing mecca of Machrihanish, Westport Beach is a favourite with families, surfers and dog walkers. Huge sand dunes provide shelter on windy days so pack a picnic and head down the Kintyre Peninsula for a day out during your short break or holiday in the Heart of Argyll.
