Sandyhills Beach
(1 review)
No dog restrictions. Sandyhills is a large sandy beach located along the southern coastline of Dumfries and Galloway. The beach slopes gently so the water is shallow and it is a popular beach for paddling and exploring rock pools. However, there are water quality issues at Sandyhills so it is recommended to check latest updates on the water pollution if you are intending to enter the water. Source: beachguide.co.uk.

Very quiet, large open beach when the tide is out with a fresh water stream running into it that is ideal for thirsty dogs, lots of rocky places to explore and a few caves, great loop across the cliffs and back along the beach. Our boy Archie (Black lab) loves it because he has full freedom.
