Many dog friendly venues

Exmouth seafront is 2 miles long and in the winter the whole of it is dog friendly, whilst in the summer, the last 2 groynes and the headland at Orcombe point allows dogs all year.

A beautiful clean sandy beach with rockpools as you go round the headland means that at any tide, there is plenty to do, High tide? Great for swimming, low tide? Walk around the headland and up onto the cliffs.

You can park straight on the promenade facing the sea and access the beach either by steps or a gently sloping ramp.

Campervans and shorter motorhomes can be parked overnight on a section of the seafront or for larger ones there are special motorhome spaces in the Maer road car park, less than ½ mile away from Orcombe point.

Ready for coffee a snack and some sneaky dog ice-cream? Bumble and sea on the clifftop open really early every morning (at sunrise for the summer solstice). Between the stone benches wooden benches and the sea wall you will always find somewhere to sit and enjoy the everchanging panorama even at the busiest times.

Our favourite beach we normally take our girls here once a week even though it is an hours drive from us and before 9 am it is normally deserted except for other dog walkers even in the height of summer.
