Advertiser - Terms & Conditions

BASIC LISTINGS

By registering with us you can set up a basic listing for your dog friendly property or business. This will appear within user website searches when they look up the category of your business and a town or county that appears in your address details. Your basic listing will require approval by DogFriendly Ltd before being made live on our website.
You can request your free listing to be removed at any time.

For both basic and paid listings (below) please contact us/update your listing if there is a change of circumstances at the your premises i.e. whether a change of ownership or if you are no longer dog friendly, so we can update our database.

Your basic listing will automatically renew at £9.95 + VAT after a year.

You will receive paid/receipt invoice for your basic listing via e-mail. This will have the details required for your book keeping.  Due to the cost of approval and checks, refunds are only due if you decide you do not want to have a basic listing within seven days of set up.

You will receive a notice by e-mail about your automatic renewal 7 days before. Payment will be taken on the card details you registered when you originally set up the basic listing.

You can cancel your renewal for the second and subsequent years at any point during your first year by contacting us at [email protected]. If advertising for a second or subsequent years and unhappy to continue, please contact us within a month of your renewal. If we don’t hear from you we will assume you are happy with advertising and no refunds will be due.

Once you have set up your basic listing you will have the option to gain greater visibility on our website by upgrading to a featured listing below.

FEATURED LISTING

Our search directory is used by over 1 million dog owners per year. Your listing will become more visible to them when you upgrade to a Featured listing. You could have up to 10 times more visits to your page on the DogFriendly website. Benefits of becoming a featured listing are:

  • Get to the top of the search directory for your type of business and area
  • Upload up to 30 images to your listing page
  • Add videos to the description on your listing page
  • Increases your visibility in broad and specific area searches
  • You should receive many more calls and/or e-mails enquiries
  • Your featured listing will automatically renew at £54.95 + VAT after a year.
  • Promote your last minute vacancies in our Last Minute category page.

If you are unhappy with your featured listing please contact us within a month of your first payment. If we do not hear from you during this time, we will assume you are happy with your featured listing and no refunds can be given.

SUPER ADVERTISER TERMS

To take up Super-Advertiser status you will need to advise us which months you would like to have your e-mail placements during a year’s period. This is 2 monthly placements as standard, but can be more with a special offer.

You will also receive 2 social posts to support your e-newsletter placements and as a Super-Advertiser you can also update your listing page with special offers.

Once you have confirmed that you would like to take up Super-advertiser status we will e-mail you an invoice for the service to be paid within 14 days. Your Super-Advertiser placements can go live once we receive payment.

If you are unhappy with your Super-Advertiser fee or the number of enquiries you have received as a result of the service, please do contact us within 3 months of commencement of the service and we will look at what we can do to increase your results or offer a refund of the full amount. After 3 months, any refunds are pro-rata to period of service completed.

By committing to being a Super-Advertiser you are happy for us to contact you on the anniversary of the contract to ask if you would like to renew. This will usually be via e-mail and/or phone.

CONTACT DETAILS

As an advertiser (free or paid) on our website you will provide us with contact details for your listing. By providing these details you give permission for our users and members to get in contact with you about your business. For the following categories of business; Hotels/B&B, Cottages and Self Catering and Camping and Caravanning, your e-mail address can be used for direct enquiries to be sent to you via our booking enquiries form which will appear on your listing page. To stop these direct enquiries please remove your e-mail address from your listing.
