Cheshire A Dog Walker’s Guide

(1 customer review)

The 20 circular routes in this book have been designed with maximum off-lead time and minimum exposure to roads, and vary in length from 1½ to 6 miles.

There are a wide variety of walks to choose from including beautiful woodland walks at Northwich, Macclesfield Forest and Delamere Forest; tranquil waterside walks at Aldford, Marple and Astbury; spectacular coastal walks at Thurstaston and Frodsham; and through beautiful parkland at Dunham Massey and Styal.

Along the way there is also the chance to visit the Anderton Boat Lift, explore the historic town of Chester; and enjoy the breath-taking views from The Cloud.

All the walks include details of:

  • Livestock and stiles
  • Distance and terrain
  • Recommended dog-friendly refreshment stops
  • Contact details for the nearest vets
  • Where to park

I bought this book for my husband and he is really pleased with it. The instructions look really easy to follow and the extra information about refreshment stops etc will be really useful. We haven’t had a chance to try any of the walks yet but will do very soon !
