Shona Lockey –
What a great idea, wish I’d had this 25 years ago when we welcomed our first two rescue dogs into our family. We have 2 lively young lab and collie crosses now so are looking forward to keeping the book in the car for exciting journeys soon. Thank you.
Heidi Harris –
Bought Dogs walks East & Mid Devon/south Devon & Dartmoor/Motorway walks/more campsite Walks. Excellent delivery services, fast and efficient. Fab nooks. Highly recommend them.
Fiona Grierson –
Handy pocket sized book – not had a chance to use it as yet, but looking forward to some nice walks whilst travelling.
BT –
Not used it yet, but looks a great book, will be so useful when we are on our travels.
Jacky Cook –
Really helpful little book, as family are scattered it’s nice to be able to plan trips where we and the dog will enjoy.
Kim Da cunha –
A good and handy little book if you have a dog
Lorraine Crawford –
Brilliant book so handy for those long journeys with dogs or kids or both looking forward to trying out some of these soon bought one for my daughter too
Helen Ballinger –
Very happy with my purchase, loads of stops I can use from the motorways I travel, and although they look obvious once you have seen them on Ordnance Survey maps I doubt I would have found them without this very helpful book, and of course although they are on OS maps you still need to know about parking, height barriers and off lead walks. All in all would totally recommend
SUSAN RIDLEY –
Not used yet but we are sure our two dogs will appreciate somewhere other than a service station! It looks extremely useful and we have planned where to stop on our next trip.
Anne Taylor –
This book looks to do exactly what it ‘says on the tin’. I haven’t been able to use it yet, but think I will find it very useful when I venture further afield.
Nikki Hunter –
Great little book, gets lots of use. Lives in the car. Hopefully they’ll be one for A roads soon.
Philip Winward –
Will come in useful as my Border Collie and I get out and about.
Mrs Jean Stephens –
Lots of walks but a bit disappointed that it doesn’t mention mileage anywhere!!! so you don’t know how long it will take you to get to any of the walks!!!
claire Hurd –
So pleased with this book. Often stop at Service Stations enroute to holiday destinations but our dog does not really enjoy it as he is not a good traveller. We will be able to make a proper walk out of our stop now and can’t wait to use it.
Julie Hamilton –
Love this book, have already planned where to have our walks en route when we go on holiday this summer. Before this have always ended up just wandering round services car parks which is hardly ideal so it will be lovely to be able to find a proper walk and possibly a pub lunch!
David Gee –
Just the ticket. Nice compact size and comprehensive selection of walks.
Peter Mark Yearsley –
Looks a very helpful and informative travel companion for longer journeys. However, postcodes would be more helpful than coordinates for entry into sat nav for finding these places as sat nav is easiest form of navigation for lone travellers (unfortunately my dog can’t read the directions from the book for me)
Ms Karen Kinger –
Nice compact and tidy book. Easy to sort out what motorway you need.
Felt it was a little short on description of the actual walks, many of which are ‘there and back’, not circular.
But very handy and will know more when we’re allowed to test them out!
Nick Santon –
Exactly what I was looking for as taking the dog around smelly motorway service areas is not great. Will keep this in the camper for when we go travelling and need to exercise and refresh ourselves.
Pam Clark –
A little gift for ME. Looks great can’t wait to start getting out and about again.
Really good service from Pet Friendly as usual.
Teresa Briscoe –
Bought for me as a Xmas gift. Took a sneak peak and it looks marvellous. Can’t wait to explore with this aid on my travels next year.
Greer Dickens –
Great pocket size book with lovely walks to stop at……. I hate motorway stops so this is perfect
Jennifer Brown –
An absolutely EXCELLENT book.. learned about several good walks accessible to both dog and wheelchair really quite close (within 20 m radius) of home!
Nicola James –
We used the book in our travels on the M40 to Wales. Coming off at Junction 15 to stop at Hatton Locks, which had a great walk along the tow path, with cafe and pub nearby On the way back we stopped at Junction 2 and we able to have a walk around scenic Burnham Beeches, which again had a cafe to get a coffee in an outdoor environment. An essential item for all our travels now.
