The Haven is a two bedroom holiday home in the Sussex village of Findon, situated in the South Downs National Park. It sleeps four people and dogs are welcome! The bungalow is split level with 3 stairs to the bedrooms, bathroom and separate shower room. Downstairs is open plan with the lounge and dining room area leading out through patio doors to a pretty secure enclosed garden. We send an online guide to the property once the booking has been accepted.
Read MoreFindon has four pubs or bars all serving food. In addition there is an Indian restaurant a ‘British Fusion’ restaurant and a tearoom. There is a village shop and post office and a Butcher a few doors away. Findon is glorious walking country. It is the perfect base for short country rambles or much longer walks.
The Monarch’s Way goes past the front door and this leads up to the South Downs Way at a point where it leads to the Downs Link.
Findon is a very dog friendly village with the village green (known as Nepcote Green) less than 100 yards away. It’s a great place to exercise your dog.
You will also find that if you want to dine out, your dog will be welcome in many local pubs where you can eat in the bar area. The Gun Inn, The Village House and The Black Horse are all a short walk away.. Further afield, there is a wide and long promenade in Worthing. Dogs are not allowed on the beaches at Worthing and Goring between May and September but all other local beaches are dog friendly.
Places to visit include Chichester, Arundel, Brighton and Worthing has 2 cinemas and 2 theatres so there is plenty to do in the area
