Our cabins at Thorpe Forest are designed to be as environmental friendly as possible. Underfloor heating is provided by air source heat pumps and wood pellet boilers which significantly reduce our carbon footprint. This is just one of the many ecologically friendly innovations we have employed at Thorpe Forest.

Our cabins at Thorpe Forest are in an idyllic leafy setting beside the River Thet, deep in the Norfolk countryside. When you arrive on-location your first stop will be the Forest Retreat, where you can discover what’s on, find out about local attractions, book activities, meet the Forest Ranger, and shop, eat, and drink too. There is also an exciting play park for the children.

This corner of England has everything, from the magic of the Norfolk Broads to excitement of BeWILDerwood; from coastal towns to cathedral cities. With few hills, it’s great for walking and cycling too. Thorpe Forest holidays offer a superb range of places to visit if you're staying for weekend breaks, short breaks of four nights, or longer.

All facilities are top notch. Clean and fully functional chalets with plenty of space for us humans and the fluff nutters. Thorpe Forest is a wonderful place for my dogs. The walks are numerous and the night sky is light pollution free. Bring a good torch as outdoor lighting is intentionally minimal to add to the serene and peaceful nature of this wonderful place. No noisy nightlife so organise your own entertainment. Can't praise Forest Holidays highly enough. Some beautiful sites across the UK.

All the staff there really welcome dogs. Nice outdoor seating area plenty of space, comfy cabins dog friendly and some lovely walks right on your doorstep .... stayed several times and looking forward to our next one which is already booked
