Best ever dog friendly self catering barns with hot tubs. Dog treats, poo bags in dispenser, dog towels and shampoo. 2 dog friendly enclosed paddocks, lots of poo bins around the barns. Also a great breakfast basket for us humans. No extra charge for dogs either

Amazing dog friendly cottages with everything you and your pooch needs for a relaxing stay. Fully secure gardens, a 2 acre secure meadow on site, doggie essentials also provided including yummy all natural treats, poop bags, towels, bowls an out door doggie shower with shampoo, and a yummy basket of treats for the humans too. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Truly a dog friendly place, (rather than just a place that accepts dogs), Carl and his team really have thought of everything, Enclosed gardens, stable doors on the properties, complementary dog treats and poo bags, a meadow nearby to exercise dogs in, with separate area for nervous dogs, wash down station for muddy dogs and wonderfully comfy accommodation, hot tubs and welcome breakfast basket for the humans too, what's not to love?!

We’ve been visiting the barns since our two Schnauzers were pups and it just gets better every year. Carl thinks of everything for the dogs and the humans - enclosed meadow is amazing plus treats for dogs and hot/cold water and shampoo with bath outside for happy dirty dogs. There is no where else quite like it. You feel as if you have really escaped staying here. Carl provides everything you need - unique accommodation with a tub tub to relax in. Plus it is super dog friendly too. As soon as you arrive, your stresses melt away. However long the stay, it is never ever long enough!

Having rescued a Dog who had been a stray and had a poor start to life there was no way we were going to put her in Kennels so we could have a holiday. We looked around and found Woodfarm Barns web site , it was helpful and informative as was Carl the owner when we booked . The whole experience was everything that was promised and more . From the moment we arrived nothing was to much trouble and the holiday was marvellous. All of our needs and Bella’s were catered for and it was just a really special holiday. We now return every year as it’s just such a special place and it’s just perfect .

When we first found Woodfarm Barns we had recently Rescued a dog. She was nervous and afraid of other dogs.
We wanted a safe place for a holiday together and Woodfarm Barns gave us that and so much more. We now go back every year. It’s private, peaceful and safe. Lots of extra goodies for us and gorgeous dog. Amazing 🤩

I find a lot of holiday places state they are dog friendly but I find they are just dog tolerant whereas Woodfarms is one of the most dog friendly places I have been lucky enough to stay in. Carl provides dog treats, poo bags, a 2 acre field to walk them (with a small enclosed garden for old or nervous dogs), a self contained garden with their own shower station, he even has poo bins by the entrance and the field for your convenience. The barns are relaxing and quiet which is lovely if you have a reactive dog to noise at night. Carl has loads of information on all of suffolk for dog friendly walks, beaches, restaurants and places to visit. I dont think he could do any more. Excellent place to visit.

Fantastic place to stay with your dog, they are as much a guest as you are. Everything is thought of, even some treats. Lovely enclosed gardens at the lodges so you can relax knowing your pet is safe. On the barges there are life jackets of different sizes for you pooch.

The barns are fabulous, with enclosed gardens and there's a whole meadow (again enclosed) where your dogs can run, sniff and explore. There's even an area for sensitive souls who prefer a quiet environment

I stayed at this venue with my family and our dog. I have in the past experienced that dog friendly accommodation is of lesser quality but this was quite the opposite. The accommodation was fabulous and it was a privilege to be able to stay somewhere marvellous and to bring along our pet. This particular accommodation had a secure garden with the added bonus of a secure dog field within a minutes walk away.

Woodfarm Barns certainly go the extra mile when it comes to welcoming dogs. Our dog had the best holiday ever which meant we did too. The dog friendly meadow (with segregated area for nervous dogs) was perfect. The hot and cold water outside taps for doggy baths and the doggy treats made our stay here just wonderful.

Warm and friendly welcome. Pippin and I stayed for a weekend as while back and the experienced has stayed with me. It was truly relaxing. The barns are well equipped and the hampers are delicious. The hot tub really was the icing on the cake. I couldn't have asked for more. In fact when ever I think ooh lets have a weekend away and stay at Woodford Barns they are always booked up. So my top tip is plan ahead.

We go to Woodfarm Barns every year with Charlie, our chihuahua. The barns are luxurious. Breakfast hampers and dog treats are a welcoming site on arrival and each barn has a secure garden, (some with hot tubs). We love holidaying in Suffolk and wouldn’t stay anywhere else and it’s all down to owner Carl Scott who has thought of everything for humans and dogs to enjoy their holiday.

The accommodation are all dog friendly. Treats left for your dog. A dog field for them to run around safely in. Also there is a hot tub for the humans in most properties. Wonderful. Carl is always friendly and helpful, we have been for many years and hope to go more in the future.

Our dog was welcomed and an array of treats were left for him too! Also a doggy towel and poo bags in a special freebie holder. There are even dog life jackets in several sizes. Never before has he felt more catered for!😁

We have 2 dogs, a toy poodle and a collie poodle cross, we have taken them to Woodfarm 3ctimes now and will be going again this september, we love it there, the accomodation is superb, the dog friendly garden is a bonus. That with the hot tub makes for a relaxing break. The real bonus for us is the enclosed field, whereca townies the dogs are always on a lead, here they can run free for as long and ax many times as they want. Carl the owner is very friendly and helpful aswell. Also the accomodation is within travel of some lovely seaside towns as well as the countryside.

They will let you take up to 3 dogs (1 springer spaniel and two Labs) - I not found anywhere else that I can take my family with me and give them the space to run.

We have two of the best stays at Woodfarm Barns & Barges. The accommodation & location are beautiful, with great advice provided on places to visit in the locality. Our dog absolutely loved it too; the place is not just dog friendly it perfectly welcomes & accommodates dogs. From the treats on arrival to the use of the secure dog field, it is a perfect. The team, led by Carl, are fantastic, really welcoming & helpful. We can’t wait to go back next year when our new puppy is old enough.

Carl and his team go above and beyond to look after their guests, including dogs. I have followed Carl and Woodfarm Barns and Barges for a few years and watched how he is always improving his business for his guests. I belong to a local dog FB group and posted his flyer after someone from the group asked for somewhere local to stay. Friends on that page stayed here, even though I have never stayed there myself and would not have recommended Woodfarm Barnes, if I didn't know or see the reviews from this business. They now live quite close to this area and recommend their friends to stay here. During lockdown, I feel I got to know Carl a lot better and how much he loves his business and watched his antics of work / projects he undertook during this time. He used to post daily anecdotal and topical Covid related posts, which cheered myself and everyone up each morning before work (I work for the NHS) and conducted weekly quizzes and get togethers via zoom. He was also a pivotal help to his local community to people unable to get out and delivered shopping to the vulnerable. I think Carl and his team deserve the award

We have stayed with our staffy several times & it’s simply the best dog friendly self catering. Each barn has a secure garden. There is a secure 2 acre dog meadow for dogs to run about in.
