Whippet Retreat Essex is such a dream come true for us and our 2 Whipps. Stacey (the owner), understands dogs and their requirements so well and is so helpful. Our two always have the best time when they stay here, both from zoomies with the other dogs and snoozing in the comfort of Whippet Retreat. If you have a sighthounds(s) and need boarding, or day care, I would highly highly recommend!

This is the only place I will take my baby. I am so so fussy and a huge worrier yet Stacey made me feel calm and happy to leave him with many updates for us. Kai didn't want to leave and loves going there every time. A dog pulling you to the door is a sure sign they love it.

Stacey is the most amazing, caring, understanding dog handler ever! Totally gets whippets and their "unusual" ways. We tried 3 other kennels before W.R.E and they couldn't handle our Pluto. Within 2 minutes of meeting Stacey and her lovely family our dog felt at home.nit was amazing to witness.

Stacey and her family (both human and fur) are so accommodating to their whippet/ sighthound guests. Our dog goes into her house with his tail wagging when we drop him off. He always gets love and attention from the fellow whippets to play with and cuddle time with the humans on the sofas. As a pet owner, Stacey is so attentive in her communications. Always sending us updates, to reassure us of his well-being. We love that she takes the dogs on walks every day to new exciting places for them to explore and equally allows them enough time in the day to relax. Her customer service is beyond excellent both for the dogs and their owners. On the more admin based side, she also has a really comprehensive questionnaire which allows you to note down all your dogs particular needs in terms of food, sleeping, medicine, behaviour and even favourite toy.

Stacey provides an amazing service. She really made the time to get to know and understand our dog, what makes him tick, what makes him nervous, what makes him happy/comfortable and personalised her approach to suit his needs. She makes a huge effort to keep the dogs entertained, lots of walks, fun and games and paddling pool in the summer! She also provides lots of reassuring updates while we are away to let us know our boy is having a great time.
