I visited recently knowing the cathedral was dog friendly but also found out the cafe is to! There are water bowls around and free doggy treats in the cafe. My doggy would also highly recommend all the fuss and cuddles from all the cathedral staff he loves it there!

Very dog-friendly and welcoming - they even have homemade dog biscuits in the Café!

Dogs are not just welcome outside, they can be taken everywhere. There are plenty of water bowls and a special treat is a free biscuit in the cafe. Spectacular, historic surroundings where you don't have to leave your dog at home.

You can now take your dog into Wells Cathedral. The staff walking around have dog biscuits hidden in their cassocks and make a real fuss of the dogs who visit. A really wonderful experience..
