Wagtail walks and training have been amazing sorting out our very anxious Cocker Spaniel. They have given us our lives back with their patience and great knowledge. Before meeting them our days and nights were spent trying to calm our dog down. We've never been able to take him anywhere due to his hyper nervous behaviour. They've taught us how to change his default thoughts and reactions and we're able to take him with us when able to. I've now got far more confidence with looking after Percy the Spaniel.

Wagtails have been a game-changer for me and my anxious little dog.
After completing a six-week puppy training course elsewhere that didn’t meet our needs, I wasn’t sure where to turn next. From my very first enquiry with Wagtails, I’ve felt supported every step of the way. They’ve offered real, practical advice tailored to our situation, with 1:1 guidance and gentle encouragement to help my dog gradually join a small group session.

Lyn and Mike are kind, positive, gentle trainers who are amazing at meeting our dogs and our own needs, they help us work at our dogs' pace and where necessary teach us different methods to find the ones our dogs respond to best. They create a calm, friendly, welcoming environment making it a place the dogs are happy to be in and somewhere my husband and I look forward to going to. We learnt so much when we took our dog reactive Cane Corso, who Mike absolutely loved, and now we're taking two 8 month old labradoodles puppies and our training continues.
I have to use a walker and there are two other people in different classes who have similar needs, Lyn and Mike have just set up a class specifically for us and put together a training plan to enable us to train our dogs a long side our mobility aids. This is such a thoughtful, inclusive thing for them to do, something which my husband and I are most appreciative of.
We cannot recommend them enough.

It has been a pleasure working with Lyn, Mike and the team to train my very bouncy puppy and see him grow into a well behaved dog. I've spent a lot of time training other dogs and I can confidently say that Wagtail Walks and Training's methods are up to date and very well founded. If there is something that you are struggling with, there are always enough people around during training to allow you to chat through issues separately.
I regularly recommend them to fellow dog owners when I am out and about.

My dog and I love Wagtails Walks and Training. The training area is spacious with outdoors and undercover areas, sections for those need a quiet area to.
Lyn Mike and the team are so welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. Training is games based and lots of fun.
With group classes and 121 it’s suitable for everyone.

Wagtail walks and Training (Lyn & Mike) have a wealth of knowledge, helping not only myself and my dog to have fun together, but also for me to really help understand his body language , enabling us to build a stronger bond. I have 2 dogs one was out of control rescue and the other a puppy that was becoming reactive.
