A Paw-some Time at The Tom o’ Wood! 🐾

If you’re looking for the best dog-friendly pub around, look no further than The Tom o’ Wood – it’s an absolute gem for both humans and their four-legged companions!

Our two pups, Skye and Bentley, absolutely love it here. The moment we pull into the car park, their tails start wagging like crazy – they know they’re in for a treat! The staff always greet them like old friends, with fresh water bowls, tasty dog biscuits, and lots of fuss. It’s clear that dogs are not just welcome here – they’re truly part of the family.

As for us humans, the food is consistently delicious, the drinks are perfectly poured, and the atmosphere is warm, rustic, and relaxed. Whether we’re enjoying a sunny afternoon in the garden or warming up inside after a countryside walk, it’s always a great experience.

There’s nothing better than enjoying a pint while Skye and Bentley snooze happily under the table after a good roam around the nearby trails. We couldn’t ask for a better spot to unwind with the whole pack.

Highly recommend to any dog lovers – and their humans! 🐶🍻

Biast as work here but is sooooooo doggy friendly, dog menu, dog ice cream, dog treats, dog beds and even a doggy roast for free sunday evenings :)

Sara Wallis, August 2025

This lovely country pub makes dogs and their owners very welcome with water, doggy treats, doggy ice cream and doggy dinners on Sundays.

Dogs are welcome in the bar, conservatory area indoors and the beautiful garden.

VERY, dog friendly makes a change to be welcomed when out with our dogs. The outside huts have space and a dog bed for our dogs.

Lots of water bowls around, and a doggy menu and some Sundays a doggy roast.

The 'Tom' genuinely is the most dog friendly pub we have visited all across the country and we regularly travel with our dog.

Always a warm, friendly welcome for Lola the

Samoyed and us of course!

Food is homecooked to a very high standard.

Sunday lunches for doggies is amazing ...Charlie the manageress counts the dogs dining and out come all the lunches specially prepared .... It's wonderful to see! Many wagging tails, full tummies and smiling faces.

Xxxxxx

This is our favorite pub in the whole of Warwickshire and our pooch loves going there as much as we do. The food is Devine and the Doggie dinners are out of this world! Our pampered pooch gets more love and fuss and attention there than she could ever dream of anywhere else!

Very very dog friendly!! On sundays they make ‘doggy dinners’ with left over meat and veg! Also they have a good selection on the dog menu including treats, dog chews and even ice creams!!

Vicky Naylor, August 2025

The food is superb, a great welcome, excellent location and your dog will love it!

We absolutely love this pub — not just for the fantastic food (always fresh, always delicious) and the welcoming atmosphere, but because our dog, Pixie, is treated like a valued guest every time we visit. The staff greet her by name, make sure she’s comfortable, and even have treats ready for her. It’s a place where both people and pups feel at home, and it’s clear that dogs aren’t just tolerated here — they’re truly celebrated. Friendly people, great food, and a place where tails wag just as much as tongues — it doesn’t get better than this!

Rosy Meadows, August 2025

The attention to detail for dogs is second to none, the sign at the door says it all...Dogs welcome, humans tolerated. Al the staff are pleased to welcome dogs and provide for their needs. As a result it makes dog owners feel they can relax. However poor dog behaviour is not tolerated if it spoils the experience for others

Easily one of the most dog friendly pubs in the area, they have their own menu!

Nick Marsh, August 2025

They are the most dog friendly pub I’ve ever been too. Dogs before humans! They cater for the dogs look after them and the landlords particularly make a fuss over any of their furry friends! I

Hayley Sabin, August 2025

The staff love dogs maybe more than people! Full dog menu on offer (including Sunday roast), unlimited treats, water and cuddles, plus doggy ice cream! Charlie and Chris can’t do enough for their customers, the best pub around 💕

Very good pub with friendly staff and a dog crazy landlady!

Mike Sperrey, August 2025

These guys are GENUINELY never happier than when any size/shape of dog come in.

Bring your dog on a Sunday, when the lunches are going out, and they'll often usually get a special doggy roast thrown in.

Lovely pub, near great walks, run by the lovliest people!

Kate Melly, August 2025

Because the landlady charlie loves dogs more than most humans. The pub is so welcoming to all dogs and also has little snacks especially for dogs and ensures they never go thirsty.

Rhyan Leigh, August 2025

They make the dogs so welcome, a special dog menu, loads of water bowls. Lovely walks from and to the pub. A lovely pub any time of the year. Excellent service and food. Staff are always very helpful and friendly.

Kerry Edwards, August 2025

By far the most friendliest dog pub ever! They cater for all the fur babies needs… including a full menu for them, paddling pool when it’s super hot ☀️ and huge dog friendly areas including a full size indoor conservatory, big outdoor area and garden huts. Always so friendly with my dog when we visit. It’s our go to pub 100% of the time. Not to mention the food is brilliant ! Especially Sunday lunch… which I shall mention… if you are there towards the end of serving they bring round Sunday lunches for the doggies!!!

No pub loves dogs more than here. Doggy treats available including ice cream. The owners dog Boris is also part of the team!

A Bentley, August 2025

The Tom is always welcome to those bringing their dogs and make sure you feel welcome with the furry members of your family. I cannot express enough how much we have loved being able to take our dogs with us to the Tom over the years and they have been excited to see Chris and Charlie (the landlord and landlady) every time.

Lynne Groutage, August 2025

Because it is a great place to go. Fabulous food, excellent staff, great location and of course Boris 😍😍

Rachel, November 2024

I have visited this place 3 times now, as I absolutely love it.

The food is delicious; in particular the Sunday roasts are huge but somehow everyone manages to clear their plate!

Diners with dogs are accommodated in the spacious conservatory, with plenty of room inside the pub for those who prefer to keep their distance from our furry friends, so you know you're surrounded by like-minded people. The staff clearly love dogs and can't do enough for them (whilst not neglecting their owners!). Water bowls and treats are on offer, along with plenty of fuss. It's so nice to feel that your dog is not just tolerated but truly welcomed.
