Stayed here on our first trip out in the campervan. Very dog orientated which was perfect for us.
Food was amazing best steak and ale pie and chips I’ve ever had in a pub. Gammon was cooked to perfection too. Was too full to try deserts but saw some come out they looked very yummy. Will come again and try the stone baked pizzas!
Both dogs had lovely time esp the puppy
Lovely view of canal and local countryside nice quiet dark park up.
The park up for vans is in the carpark through a gate don’t drive upbehind pub like we did 😂

Had a lovely stay at Barn 2 with our collie cross Reg. We even ventured into the beer garden with him and the staff were great, he’s very over excitable and they were so lovely spending time with him to calm him down. Lovely pub and great staff and such a perfect place for our little week away.

Our 2 frenchies were spoilt with bar treats , venison, chicken sausages. Staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us!! Lots of dogs in here!!

The Sun Trevor has a lovely vibe about it. We popped in for a family meal with our 11 month Labrador and the staff were brilliant from start to finish. You could tell that they genuinely love dogs and were very calm around our excited pooch.
It was so nice to see so many other waggy tails, all behaving. The atmosphere wasn't a loud and boisterous one, in fact it was really calm. This might have something to do with the doggy menu, which sounds so nice you could be tempted to order from it for yourself.
Definitely the most dog friendly place I've to before.

Lovely pub anyway but now we have our little pooch even better. Very dog friendly and lovely to see people sitting , chilling with their fur babies being part of it. Such friendly staff and treats available for the dogs. Since having our dog I was putting off going out to eat as didn’t want to leave her but great to know she can join us here.

Great food for us and great menu for our dog. The staff are super welcoming to people and dogs alike. Our Rhodesian ridgeback is a big strong boy but is as welcome as the smallest pup. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Its our dog Roxy's favourite place! The staff are amazing and have the dog treats (and a pint for the husband) ready when they see Roxy walking up from the canal which is a fabulous, personal service! There is plenty of room both inside and out where you can chose to sit, dogs are allowed throughout which is great.
The food is lovely and when we eat there, we always make sure we order something from the dog menu.
I feel it is the only place we can fully be a family of 4 where Roxy is fully included

Just awesome!!! Stayed here just for an evening and night with our campervan an our two border collies.
When we arrived we got a short introduction in the area and the beautiful countryside, Bello and Bob got dog sweets and well tasting water. Then we took a walk along the channel. NICE!!!
After that we had great supper and the dogs had something from the dog menu also. We all had fun and have to come back soon!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Fantastic food for us and our dog! Doggy menu available and the sausages went down a treat. They even had dog ice cream. Staff took time to make our dog relaxed and brought little biscuits as a welcome. Will definitely be back.
