This venue is extremely Dog Friendly. Our Jack Russell dog Pip enjoys the tasty dog menu. The human menu is also tasty & varied & The Red Rover even caters for OAP’s with their own menu.

The best place for you and your four legged pal. Great staff, great pub, well cooked and good value meals and above all, the special dog menu meals delivered to your table (well, floor for waggie). Dogs of all sizes are welcomed, including our Basset Hound.

I am voting for this pub because they take care of dogs very well, they have a dog menu, and they even bring you a dog blanket, dog biscuits and a water bowl to your table. Outstanding service x

We were looking for a dog friendly pub for lunch on our way to the Isle of Wight. The Red Rover was superb! Dog bed , water and a dog menu. The dogs had a bowl of bangers and loved it!

The staff are always so welcoming to all dogs and their hoomans. Love that they have a specialist dog menu, blankets and treats available. Our dog loves having roast chicken. Would recommend to all pet owners.

I love their dog menu. It’s so nice to go out for a proper family meal and not leave our dog at home. We booked a table, told them we were bringing a dog and when we arrived there was a blanket, water bowl and treats ready at the table x

We visited with our collie, Grace, on our way past for a bite to eat, just passing through the area and so glad we did! Little did we know that Grace would receive 5* treatment! She enjoyed her doggy dinner and definitely gave the whole experience the paw of approval!

Our family dogs have been well pampered at The Red Rover ever since we’ve moved in the area, 3 years ago.
Restaurant area is off limits but there is plenty of seating in the pub/bar area and garden, blankets, treats and water fountain and our little terrier can see the same friendly dog faeces every time we’re in

We are on Holiday and come from Germany.
It is quite hard to find somewhere to take our dog in England, because there are almost no places that allow them. We are not used to this because in Germany dogs are allowed in every shop, every restaurant and every other place. But luckily we found the Red Rover! This Pub is absolutely dog friendly. They have a little corner where you can pick up a blanket, some treats and water for doggies. The people there were really friendly and the food was also great. We have already recommended it to all the people we know that have dogs. We will definetely go back!
