A wonderful traditional dog friendly English country pub with a great selection of beers and ciders, locally produced home cooked food and fantastic friendly staff. Our dog Frank loves going here as there's always a full dog water bowl outside and a treat or three behind the bar for him.

Dogs love here as much as we do. They pull us in and look for Chloe to give them a treat, if she's not there someone else will give them one. All of the staff know the dogs names and make a fuss of them every time, even if they're busy! Theres aways water for them to drink too.

The Old Green Dragon is such a fantastic local village pub, Cloe and Marc are so welcoming and are huge dog lovers! They have treats, a fab water barrel and even blankets for the dogs so they’re comfy and they make a fuss of all the fury friends. Great food, great ale - what’s not to love about this pub!

You know its a dog friendly pub when your a frequent visitor and they always remember the dogs name but not yours! it's such a great place to go with the dog as there even allowed in the restaurant and there's plenty of water and treats around for them and they always check before feeding your dog anything, it's my pooches favourite pub to frequent and there's a grassed area with poo bags on hand to take your dog on if your going to be there a while and plenty of lovely walks which can start or end at the pub

My dogs and I love coming here. They are all welcomed with open arms, treats and love. I have got rescue dogs (like the owner) so she really understands their needs. One really struggled to walk through the door and Cloe went above and beyond to try and welcome him in. Dogs are remembered by name and the food for humans is delicious too!

The pub is as much a meeting place for the dogs as it is for their owners. My dog who has sadly gone to the rainbow bridge was a rescue dog and afraid of people but the staff at the Dragon soon won her over. Lovely people.

Friendly pub with water a plenty for them. When I last visited, one doggy had a small "accident". Nobody shouted or made a big deal of it. It was quickly dealt with and both dog and owners carried on enjoying their evening. I like that, as accidents will happen and no-one or no-dog should feel shamed by it, like happens in so many other places!

All dogs welcome everywhere in the pub - even the restaurant, there is dog watering stations scattered around and a dog friendly gated off grass area you can let your pooch have a sniff and do their business, the pub is surrounded by some lovely walks as its in the country side - just make sure you keep your pooch on a lead if they get excited by sheep as there are lots around.
