I went in the morning, was greeted with smiles as always and my dog is a very anxious dog and she spillt my latte over the staff helped me clean it up if my phone and then brought me another latte to take away which I was ever so greatful for! The nicest place I’ve ever been with my dog

I love dogs but don't own one due to person circumstances. so it's lovely going to eat where dogs are welcome and owners are encouraged to bring them. My grandaughter used to be scared but taking her to the maltings in such a calm atmosphere has made her love going round to the dogs
The staff really go out of their way especially to accomodate those who are walking, with bowls of water and dog biscuits on hand. Having the dogs around brings people together, and 'dog therapy' makes amny lonely people smile x

There's always a warm welcome for dogs and on our most recent visit, we really appreciated the mat bed for our older dog who gets stiff lying on stone floors after a while. We loved the stick library too! :)

This place is about community! Dogs bring our community together! When the dogs are happy the owners are happy. My dog poppy doesn’t enjoy a lot of restaurants/ pubs but she settles and enjoys visiting The Maltings.

We love the fact that there is a dog bar, dog menu, blankets, towels and bowls. The staff love the dogs and are friendly and welcoming to everyone. The doggie dinners are a treat for the pets and the great selection on the menu for humans is great too. They also do organised walks and photo shoots as well as a dog friendly night when there are fireworks.

I love that your dog can go in but they also have little water stations and in winter blankets and towels.

Great staff, great food, choice of drinks and facilities and all our canine companions are as welcome as ever. The Maltings still catered for us all during lockdown using delivery services, an ice cream and drinks window. They have also ensured a safe and welcoming environment for all of their customers (2 and 4 legged) after the Covid restrictions were put in place. Well done Team!!

Fab dog friendly pub. Beds, water, treats, towels, doggy shower and doggy dinners all available. Holds lots of charity events to raise money for Manchester and Cheshire Dogs Home. Even in lockdown they did a free fun online dog show, just asked for donations to the charity.

The most dog friendly pub I’ve ever been in, you can sit anywhere you like with your dog, they have a cabinet with everything a canine needs, water, towels and treats. They serve an amazing doggy dinner. Lots of activities going on for dog walkers.

We visited the maltings few times to join other dog walkers for a nice walk around the park.(which was organised by the maltings staff) Everyone's very nice and welcoming, you can have a nice walk, with great company And afterwards you can stop at the maltings for lunch or refreshments , including doggie meal for our doggies which they loved. It's a great place to visit with your family and dogs... I wish that we were living more local so we could visit more often.

My dog loves this pub, he loves the fuss and attention he gets from the staff. The doggy dinners are his favourite thing, he especially likes sitting in a certain part of the pub where he has direct view of the kitchen door so he can wait for his food to come out.

I love the maltings. It's a great place for dog lovers. You walk in and instantly feel fully accepted. They offer dog beds, balls, water, towels and have even got a dog shower incase your pup has decided to have a mud bath before entering. I've been to so many dog friendly pubs where you are segregated and not made to feel properly welcome. But the maltings really breaks these barriers whilst still maintaining extremely high hygene standards. And not to forget the doggie dinners and dog biscuits they also have on offer. !!

Always made to feel welcome with dogs all shapes and size. They hold regular dog walks with free tea and coffee for the attendees (before covid anyway) treats and fresh water provide, they even have a wash station and towels for after muddy walk. Love the place

Not only is the food and welcome brilliant, but when my dog was injured by broken glass nearby they went out and cleaned up all the glass, even though it was not on their property, to protect other dogs. They go above and beyond for their community and customers.
