We’ve stayed at the hayloft with and without a dog. We took our over boisterous dogs for help with walking in a calm polite manor. We took everything on board Charlene showed us and after just a weeks visit we returned home to try again, it took a day or 2 but everything she had shown us, worked like a dream. Since then we have also been in contact for other naughty behaviour, Charlene is a miracle worker and knows how to help.

Rodney, our Romanian Rescue came to us with many problems. Charlene helped with all aspects of his behavior, including both his and our confidence building. She also helped us to sort out his pancreatitis which he had suffered with for over 6 months & which the vets hadn't been able to find the cause but merely treated. Having sought support for more than one of my dogs, I was absolutely dumbfounded to find that my scared & avoidant mastiff rescue happily walked alongside Charlene and took cheese cubes from her within three minutes of meeting her. Neither myself, her previous fosters or others in the rescue had ever imagined that this would be her response to a new person. One of my smaller dogs, a rescued street dog, is highly anxious and skittish. Charlene gained his trust very rapidly and even held his concentration and channelled his energy and focus into playful agility. His confidence has improved as a result, also strengthening the bond between us further.
There are other examples which I could do, including seeing significant changes in the behaviour of my friends stocks, through working with Charlene. I am not due to talk behaviourist so trainers, having consulted several over the years and seen the outcome of many others, through animal rescue. The depth of compassion and gentle bond with dogs, which Charlene naturally generates, is startling and heart warming for me to see.

We had our first session with Charlene after adopting our nervous Greek rescue dog Seth, we sought behavioural help as he was fearful, unsure of people & struggling to adjust to his new surroundings. Charlene immediately reassured us & spent the session getting to know & assessing Seth (we also had a little agility and scent work taster!) She worked with us to create an informative training plan on how to manage & improve his confidence. Seth has come on leaps & bounds and even greets Charlene with kisses now! We also do one on one agility sessions at the hayloft with Charlene & Seth even has a holiday booked at the dog hotel next year! Such lovely people at the hayloft. Would 100% recommend for any doggy needs!
