It takes dog friendly to a whole new level. Julie and Steve are so welcoming from the moment you arrive by offering tea or coffee and offering to help with your luggage. To offering doggy cooked breakfast or biscuits. Having toy boxes everywhere. Also shelves full of towels in the entrance and a wash basket to put used towels in. It's just a fantastic b&b

Amazing!!!
Lovely warm welcome from Julie and Steve with tea and coffee on arrival. We reserved a parking space and this was made available as soon as we got there and on returning from our trips out. Steve helped my husband with our luggage and nothing was too much trouble. The room was cosy, clean and light and had everything we needed. We stayed 7 nights and slept comfortably and soundly every night. The breakfasts were superb and the cellar bar was a great addition to enjoy the atmosphere and a few reasonably priced drinks. In addition to all this our little Jack russell even had his every wish provided for from towels, cooling mat and a bag of treats in the room to breakfast every morning which he polished off in no time. He even accompanied us to the bar and had a whale of a time playing with the toys provided and even claimed two!! They also provide a pet sitting service which we did not use but would do so in future. We will definately be returning and would recommend a stay here it is a genuine pet friendly hotel and allows both human and dog to have the best time on holiday.

Where do I begin ?
Fab fab fab.
From the moment I arrived I was greeted with a pot of coffee a very warm smile and welcome, a parking space was made available for my stay,
My room was lovely, decorated very well and high standards of cleaning,
There was plenty of blankets and towels provided for my pooch and also a hugh cooling mat which we used for the whole 3 days and 2 nights when we were in our room (good thinking)
The food was delicious I had a full English every morning and the quality was top notch and the speed it came out was incredible, the bar in the cellar was a brilliant addition to my stay with very cheap drink prices dog sitting service was available and much more.....anyone who want a carefree, relaxed welcoming very very very pet friendly hotel THIS IS THE ONE !!!! I will be returning with pooch and on my own when I am no longer with.could not fault it one bit except it's 4 hours drive from me and the high surprise I had not 1 wiff of a dog smell dry or wet ha ha

Myself&My partner and Our Dog stayed at The Chesterfield Hotel for 3 days, upon arrival we’re greeted professionally by the wonderful owners Julie&Steve, they showed all 3 of us too our room. They had Catered to our dogs needs with a cooling blanket dog treats and towel bowls. and gave us all relevant information about Blackpool and where to go that are dog friendly. They also had entertainment on the night on site so we bring our dog which we found really enjoyable. Rooms were clean tidy fresh all round. And offered dog sitting which we kindly accepted at a good price. Breakfast was nice, on time and plenty of refreshments on offer choice was available. All round hotel was very nice to will definitely be staying again.

Been many a times to The Chesterfield Pet Friendly B&B and quite frankly would not go anywhere else. Julie and Steve can not do enough for you and are so friendly. The addrd service of pet sitting is such an added bonus too. The breakfasts for both adults and dogs are a really good size and so tasty. You honestly could not fault this place for friendliness and value. They love all the dogs that keep going there year on year.

are always so warm and friendly nothing is ever to much trouble for them. The level of care they have for Bonnie & all other dogs/guests is exceptional.

They are undoubtedly the most dog friendly hotel in the country! (We've tried loads.) Only at The Chesterfield does our dog think the hotel is just for him! The love and care Julie and Steve show for dogs is amazing. The lounge, bedrooms and the breakfast room are all geared up for dog comfort. They provide loving dog sitting so owners can get out to a show or the shops, and our dog loves being left with them for a few hours. There are lots of clean dog towels for those walks in the rain or on the beach. Gift bags of dog biscuits in the bedrooms, dog bowls and dog food available at breakfast. Lots of adortable dog decor, even dog bone shaped fried bread in the delicious English breakfasts. They really help owners have a fabulous holiday, so friendly, helping any way they can. Steve even provides a car parking service to help us all arrive and leave with ease. The lounge and hall are full of thank you notes and photos from grateful guests. We can't wait to go and stay with them again!

What a wonderful place the Chesterfield is , a lot of places say they are dog friendly but not like the Chesterfield.
The dogs are welcomed with goodies in the room , they are welcome to join you and even have a cooked breakfast.
Stephen and Julie also do a dog sitting so if you are going out to watch a show they can look after your furbabies!!.
Also there's so many little extras like towels for your dog too use when they have been out on the beach, toys for them too play with.
Julie and Stephen have certainly thought about anything !!!

I’ve been going there since 2018 with my staffie Casper and my daughter used to come with me in the earlier years.
We go there 3 times a year as nothing is ever to much especially for the dogs!
It’s a lovely small and cosy place around one hundred metres away from the sea front, down a side street so it’s away from the main hustle and bustle of the main attractions which are still extremely close by!
I’ve stayed in several different rooms and they’re always clean and tidy when you walk in your room just be careful as if your dog is anything like Casper he’s straight in for the paw bag as it’s full of treats lol!!!
Every morning you can smell Steve’s cooking as you open your room door no matter where you are in the B&B and they cater for all including the dogs if they fancy a cooked breakfast they can have one as well.
I’ve meet people from all over the uk over the years and it’s been a great laugh especially of a night time when the bar is open down in the cellar as there’s loads of toys for the dogs to play with.
This year I’ve already been twice and booked in a further two times this year and Casper can’t wait to see Julie & Steve.
I’m going to have start thinking of next years breaks as it’s a very popular place to stay.

More than just pet friendly. They are pet welcoming. On arrival Spencer was made a fuss of. Goody bag for Spencer in our room. He was allowed in the dining room and bar where he could play with other dogs. Never felt so relaxed in a pet friendly b & b before. I’m voting from a dogs point of view because I am a regular guest at this amazing hotel. My mummy has never found more friendly welcoming owners than Steve and Julie. Everything is about making me have a great stay from the treat pack waiting in my room and the soft fluffy doggie towels on the chair.
But the best bit for me is the gorgeous doggie breakfast provided by uncle Steve with real bone shaped fried bread. This hotel is truly remarkable and from a doggies point of view simply the best

The only true dog friendly hotel or B and B that we have ever been too. Nothing is too much and the dogs are so well looked after, they also offer dog sitting. You can bring them to all meals and the bar. Loads of toys for the dogs and plenty of snacks

The chesterfield make you and your pet very welcome. You can bring them to breakfast and to the bar in the evening. Julie and Steve and the family also do a dog service so you can enjoy a few hours out on your own.

Easily the most dog friendly establishment we have stayed in. We couldn't leave our cockapoo in a bedroom because of separation anxiety. No worries about that here as dogs are allowed in the breakfast room and in the bar. The owners are super friendly and accommodating to both humans and dogs.

As I always take my dog with me I have stayed in many pet friendly hotels but I would put The Chesterfield as my number one. The owners Steve and Julie go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. So many hidden extras like welcome treat packs and soft doggy towels in your room on arrival and a fantastic breakfast with bone shaped fried bread. It’s the attention to detail and the warm welcome which you receive which takes me back every year. If anyone deserves this award it’s the Chesterfield pet friendly hotel Blackpool

It really is a dog centered hotel. The dogs come first, everything is perfect for them, I have stayed at so called dog friendly hotels before where dogs are tolerated. At the Chesterfield they are truly welcomed. Oh and the human breakfast is wonderful!

The full hotel is dog friendly, owners take your luggage straight to your room while you have a cuppa in the lounge upon arrival. Bar is super dog friendly with lots of toys to play with. Dogs can sit next to you on the couches. Nothing is any trouble, Steve and Julie are the perfect hosts.
