Fantastic trainers, that can think outside the box, helping me to train a lab from puppy whilst using a wheelchair so adapting lessons/tasks, nothing is too much for these trainers. Plus they are great at translating dog language making it so much easier for us mere ‘homans’ to understand!

Amazing training centre in West Sussex! Friendly & helpful staff, hugely knowledgeable behaviourists & trainers, fantastic classes from standard puppy training to group classes for reactive dogs. My dog absolutely LOVES her flyball class and 121 sessions with her favourite behaviourists - she gets so excited as soon as we drive up the track & can’t wait to go have fun! She also loves using the secure fields for a good run about alone or with her doggy friends. Highly recommend for anyone with a dog, whether it’s for standard obedience training, walking groups or competition level flyball or agility - there’s something for every dog!

Sussex County Dog Training has been part of our lives for a year now, starting with puppy socialisation through the obedience levels and currently gun dog training. The whole positive training ethos branches out wherever you find yourself at SCDT, whether it's in the cafe, the shop, day care, walking groups, classes for humans or dogs. It really is all about giving dogs the best experience possible and helping their humans understand them better. I have recommended and will continue to recommend them to anyone who loves dogs.

Great support for dogs and owners! Owning a reactive dog can be very stressful for owners but SCDT make me and my dog feel ‘normal’ and offer so many different resources to help such as: reactive rovers groups classes, off and on lead group sessions, 121’s, & various online classes! The trainers are amazing, including the shop assistants who are extremely supportive and helpful. It feels like a supportive community at SCDT.

SCDT is a wrap around service: training, enrichment courses, advice, shop, daycare, coffee... I honestly don't know how the dogs (or us!) would cope without it.

I have taken my dog there all her life. Basic training, 121 for problems and doggy day care when I need it. I also buy her food there. It’s a terrific place, and I have found the staff friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
