We have had dogs at Smytham ever since we came down for the first time. Having a specific field that the dogs can use in safety is great. Plenty of bins around the site for waste.

Taking a dog and child on holiday can sometimes be a juggling act, you often need to choose between doing something child friendly vs dog friendly at Smytham there wasnt a compromise to be made. We were able to take our son and the dog to the outdoor pool so we could spend quality family together and on a hot summers day this was invaluable!!

Our dog loves her holidays at Smytham, she has wonderful woodland walkies, is made welcome with treats in Smythies bar and they even sell Scoops doggy ice cream which is her favourite. She enjoys being allowed to watch us when we swim in the pool too, a great advantage so she doesn’t get left behind anywhere on site. .

It's a very dog friendly park having a good field where they can run and an excellent dog wash so muddy walks are not a problem. We have been coming to Smythams for 8 years and always enjoy our visits

There is a lovely, free dog wash and hair dryer on site, but best of all, access to miles of hard parhs and tarmac paths through woodlands and countryside, directly from the site on to the Tarka Trail. Our Springer Spaniel has a great time, every time we visit Smytham. The staff are all very friendly and often stop to say hello to us and especially our dog.

We visit often. One of the main reasons is the dog walks from the site which are great. In addition there is a large dog field on site and dog wash facilities as well as the doggy ice cream which is very popular with our two. There are always quite a few dogs on site reflecting the popularity of the site to dog owners.

We stayed at this park in August, 4 adults, 2 children and 1 dog, we found the park to be very clean and tidy and the kids were able to go off in their own without us worrying about them. We will certainly be going back.

Excellent access to lots of friendly walks around the area. Great area onsite to let your dog off the lead to explore. Even has a free professional doggy wash. Also a perfect place to stay with friendly staff.

It is such a friendly site. They provide a free great doggy shower and a large area for doggy runs. Quick access to the Tarka trail which is dog friendly and goes for miles

We stayed here in July and we were so pleased with the site. So beautiful and clean well kept. Dogs are very welcome great facilities. We have rebooked for next year. A gem of a place.

Excellent dog exercise area and direct access to the Tarka Trail, with a free to use mini bathing doggy parlour when you return to site for those who like to get super mucky on their adventures!

This is an excellent place to take dogs. A fantastic dog exercise field accesses the Tarka trail where you can then walk for miles. The dog friendly beach of Instow is 20 minutes away and dog friendly pub Bull and Dragon just 10 minutes away.
On site there is a bespoke dog wash and there are even hooks to tie your pooch up whilst you swim in the magnificent pool.
The family that run the business are all dog lovers.
Our dogs just love it at Smytham and it’s so easy to have them there.
