The huts are amazing & the location just perfect. Janet will look after the humans & four legged family members, taking time to show you around her amazing Croft where you will meet George & Gilbert. What a stunning place, will definitely return with the spaniels!

We stayed at skye shepherd huts last year, and are booked in again for September. A beautiful and unique setting, the huts are comfortable for all, and although dogs aren't encouraged on the beds beautiful throws are provided in case they're sneaky and want an extra lie in! They'll need it after all the active days you'll have. A beautiful area to explore surrounds the huts, and its a lovely place to sit and relax after a day exploring. I kept my dog on a lead so she didn't bother the chickens or donkeys, but she was perfectly happy with that. Having them roaming free just added to the beauty of the place, as well as giving a taste of island life. A really fantastic find that I highly recommend.
