From the door, dogs are welcomed by offering the owner a dog treat to give your dog. Beds are provided. Importantly, the coffee is excellent and homemade cakes are the best in Bovey Tracey.

Love the fact that you can enter a photo of your dog for "dog of the month" and donations go to animal rescue charities. Also, they seem to know a lot of their customers dogs by name!

Rodney's is very welcoming for all dogs!
To start with, there's the cool resident "Sir Spud" who likes me and reminds me to say hello and give him a nice wee tickle-scratch before I can sit down, makes me smile everytime!! 🥰 Then there's the amount of beds that are available for those that love a little bit more comfort, something I've not really seen anywhere else...
Obviously there's the obligatory treat jar at the entrance and several bowls so there's no fighting over who's drink it is!! 😂
Yet to see a dog who's not happy to be there so 5 stars from me and our little gang of Fuzz & Dusty... 🤘🏽😉🥰

Our fox red lab loves this place because of all the attention (and treats!) she gets whenever we go! Couldn't be more doggy friendly if they tried.

Super friendly and always welcoming to all dogs. Dog beds, treats and water bowls at the ready. A great spot to enjoy your cuppa and a slice of cake with your pooch.

Always a friendly welcome for all customers whether they have a waggy tail and a wet nose or not. Lovely venue with tasty cakes and excellent coffee, and really interesting shows and exhibitions in the gallery below. And I love that Rodney’s has a dog bed stack in different sizes to accommodate any size of dog, big or small.

Dogs made very welcome. Lovely comfy dog cushions provided which my whippet appreciates as he doesn't do hard floors. Dog of the month competition a bit of fun as well as raising money for charity.

We love going to Rodney’s with our cavapoo, Peggy. She always gets a warm welcome from everyone, along with treats and a bed if she wants one (various sizes available). It is a very dog friendly venue and also serves great coffee and the carrot cake is the absolute best!
