Absolutely fabulous food using local produce. Support and encouragement for other small businesses and environmentally friendly. Great welcome by the human and canine greeters. In fact perfect.

Fabulous cafe with beautiful locally sourced food and so dog friendly, they have 3 gorgeous border collies who meet and greet every visitor. There is a genuine love of dogs evident in the owner and the staff.

The team at the Rocking Horse Cafe are amazing, so friendly and welcoming to both human and four legged friends. The three resident border collies, Rocky, Sam and Tess are wonderful ‘meeters and greeters’. The food and drink is really great, all locally sourced. Can’t recommend this place enough…especially if you love dogs.

What a wonderful place to go and eat! The owners really do love dogs and the cafe is so welcoming to them there is even a throne for your dog to have their photo taken. Very friendly owners and staff. The food was beautiful with really generous portions. Going back when we are on holiday there next year and any other time we are passing through.

So friendly for humans and dogs. The food and service are great. They use local produce and sell some. Lots of well spaced tables post Covid. A dog agility course for you and your dog to do to compensate for all the delicious cake you ate ! Just minutes off the A1 and in glorious countryside.
