Always a calm visit, wandering the walkways and reflecting on life knowing that the money being donated goes to a fantastic cause x

Flo & I have been visiting since she was 18 months old (she is now nearly 15). It is a lovely day out, she is at ease around horses/donkeys, the staff are friendly & she gets fuss, & the cafe is dog friendly with treats too.

They do remarkable work caring for all equines in need. I also have adopted 2 horses from Redwings, Caldecott.. A Friesian named Maya & a Shire Horse named Fox.

Having visited many times , I have always taken my dog as she is looked after as well as the horses and ponies are with plenty of water bowls around the site and areas safe for her to walk around.

Have visited on three occasions when on holiday in Norfolk. A beautiful place to be among the donkeys, horses & mules.

Wonderful to be able to take our dogs too. The Cafe is also very dog friendly inside and outside. Lots of doggie things too in the shop, especially the natural dog treats! Helping the Sanctuary and enjoying a day including the dogs just Wonderful.

Brilliant day out with our timid little Pomeranian as she absolutely loved the horses.

Totally dog friendly we have been visiting the centre for years and always get a good welcome and Rocky enjoys his walk round and meeting the horses and donkeys would recommend a visit to Redwings Great day out and you can give what ever you can afford as a donation to keep the centre going absolutely no pressure

We visit every year on hols with our dog, you can go anywhere with them including the shop & cafe. The staff in the Cafe & Shop are friendly with her & she receives lots of fuss. They serve homemade dog treats, & sell local made treats etc in the shop. The walk around the sanctuary is lovely & there are benches if you need to pause for a rest. We have been going for 13 years & our dog enjoys going.

Welcoming staff, safe environment for both dog, dog walker and the horses in their paddocks, it’s a nice clean place with wide walkways too.

Our old dog Henry used to love his visits… he was there so often during the season that some of the staff knew him by name. Henry passed away earlier this year but many memories where made at Redwings with him.

They are a sanctuary that rehabilitate, look after and rehome equines that have been either mistreated or though no fault of their own end up needing their care. The have a range of dedicated, experienced and friendly staff that will do everything they can for the animals. They encourage families to visit their open days with their canine members.

Lovely relaxed surroundings to walk around and a wonderful cafe and shop that provides water for our doggies.

Redwings Sanctuary is a wonderful place and a lifeline for horses. Being dog friendly we have 3 dogs. To be able to combine my love of rescued horses & Donkeys and able to take our dogs whilst on holiday is great.
